5 Keepsake Boxes - Progress Images!!!

Working on 5 keepsake boxes.

These are perfect for baby first birthday, or birth...etc.

 2 are commissioned works ...so will need to get them done ASAP !!!!

Now...enamel painting and details!!!!

Almost at the finish line ...few more days and I will have last 3 completed !!!

These 3 are left!!!

Horse Careselle and Baby Batman Completed!!!

This teddy bear just got commissioned for Harry Potter theme :)

Last 2 days it has progressed!!!

Lights in, and cape stiffened with fabric stiffener!!!

3 layers of acrylic sealer will make it as stiff and plaster looking as the bear.

New WORK - Untitled !!!!

 This one is a smaller work - to "I lost my Tentacle"

Hoping to finish this one quicker, as it is on a 30cm metal ring!

Using the fish as the main character in this work.

Will update photos as I move along!

Most of the Threads I will be using - around 15 different wool and macrame cord!!!

Already playing around with how to position elements in a cohesive and logical way.

I am sure I will 'Arrange and Rearrange' many times before I decide on the final composition :)

I hated the fish in the end, as it was too big for the size of the work.

Feeling completely overwhelmed now!!

2 weeks of non stop work.

Texted few friends, and they all said to make blue less long, as it was over powering the work on top so I took their advice, and got my scissors out!!!

Koala Blue - Completed

 In this work, I am definitely moving into 3D textured macrame style, using different materials, and incorporating crochet for leaves.

Inspirational images and sketching/paper recording progress!!!!

However...totally hated the leaves, and their colour!!!

Pulled them all off...and started Crochet leaves!!!

New leaves!!!!

Almost done !!!!
